I was about to go with chrome wheels but at this point,I've have changed my mind.
I'm feeling chrome wheels are too 'bling' .Especially the chromed stock 17s i was looking into.
Though the OEM 18's chromed are nice and not gaudy.

I think chrome looks awesome on black or silver colored cars. I wanted to get chrome OEM wheels at the time of my IS purchase, but dang....I was already past my price limit when I opted for the extended warranty.

I was at Longo Lexus the other day and saw they had a 2008 IS350 with the dealer add on 18" chrome wheels...

They tacked on an extra $1,600 just for the chrome wheel finish option...

soo sad...

My biggest problem with chrome Lexus wheels and a wish that I hadn't swapped my alloys for chromed alloys is that the damn chrome wheels eventually will leak and there just is no fixing them without replating.

Dealership threw my chrome wheels in for like, $300.
I asked them to install them on the model I wanted, and then to try the g-spiders, and then asked to put chrome back on.
They were tired and just put them discounted.
