help!! ridges on the door panel

Default help!! ridges on the door panel

yeah..my girlfriend bought her 2007 lexus is 350 like 3 months ago...she was so excited to purchased the car...when she drove it home the next day..she noticed there was ridges on the passenger side panel...i guess its a defect or something..or did it just pop up cuz of the heat from the sun..i myself have dont think its a warp from the heat..so wat do u guys think??

and wat should i do..take it back to the dealership fix it..or its not cover by the warranty?

I would definitely bring it to the dealer and see what they can do for you.

It's leather, so you are going to have some natural variations in the finish. Cowhide is not a man made product, like vinyl. Personally, it really wouldn't bother me. It doesn't look that noticeable from your pic and appears to be ridges in the original hides. I feel that going back to the dealer for small things like this just opens the door for goof ups when they try to fix it.

yeah i know wat u mean about the goofing up thingy by the dealerships..i just took my IS in for service today cuz my ebrake was making loud pops when i shift it from park to drive and etc..and when they were done with it...i took to the freeway and my car started to shake and rattle and cranking noises underneath my car...so i took it back and the idiot service guy tighted my brakes too tight..its giving second thoughts about me taking my car back in...but like i said the ridges dont look that bad in the pic but outside...its really bad...deep i mean. it looked like its been soaked in water for days.

if i had that in my car i wouldn't care about it .. if it doesn't happen now it will later.
