Suggestions for mounting a PS3 in my IS250
My IS currently has the video in NAV mod, VAIS and rear DVD headrest screens which can feed the front VIDEO source. I am looking to put a PS3 in the car but it seems like there really is no place to put it except the trunk. The ski passthrough is not really big enough for any custom mount and the PS3 is too big for the glove box. Anyone have any ideas. All I really need is the front part of the PS3 to show so I can switch games.

do you mean the area below the console?
Did you mean the carpet covered area below the center console. Wow is there is enough room there? I want to be able to put it back to stock in a few years so I want to get the cut out right so I can replace it in the future. I tried to attach a pic for reference but i cant for some reason.

IMO, trunk. Any other place that is visible, you're just inviting theives to come steal your PS3. I wouldn't even leave loose change visible in my car....

I had a ps2 in my last car and i put it on the center of the rear deck. I know the sub is there in this car, but you may be able to do something with it back there.
Otherwise, not sure where else you could install it and keep it clean. What about cutting out the center part of the rear seat ski-through plastic and mounting it in the trunk? You could feed the cables through for the controllers, have enough room for games and it would be extremly clean looking. Just an idea...
Another idea, how much cushion is below the rear seats? if there's a enough room, you could building a steel case under the rear seat, mount it in there and put the seat over it (with small cutout for wires, games, etc).

all good suggestions
The PS3 has a tough shape. It appears to be tough to put it anywhere without sticking out like a sore thumb. The ski pass through is not really big enough without heavily modifying the middle section including the leather above the ski pass for it to fit the PS3. I will look into below the rear passenger side seat for a possibility below the seat but i fear the stick out which is about 2 1.2 inches would mess with the leg room of a rear passenger. My last option is trunk mount like they do CD changers up high or just install game port with inverter mount and let it sit in the area by the ski pass so I can always change games through there. Thanks for everyone who gave me suggestions.
