Anyone here use the Motorola KRZR? Hows the reception and bluetooth connection? Do you get full bluetooth support through the car (phone book, caller ID, battery/signal bar)? I'm thinking of picking one up cheap so I can have good bluetooth support.

KRZR on which carrier? Different carriers have different firmware.

I have it for Verizon. It works great! Shows battery and signal on screen. The only downside is that you have to transfer your contacts one by one through bluetooth. Other than that it works great.

I second that. i also have the KRZR K1m with verizon and that description pretty much fits the bill. It works very well, but I will say that it does take a solid 30 seconds or so to transfer the call back to the handset after youve shut off the car, so that can get mildly annoying if you are still on the phone as you exit. Not sure if this is standard for all models or just a KRZR issue.

reception within the car is fine, and ive purposely placed the phone just about anywhere in the vehicle and there are no BT connection problems. It even stays connected you take your phone slightly outside the vehicle.

The trick is to press the "transfer" button on the nav screen before you shut off the car. I don't have a KRZR, but on my Alltel flashed Verizon RAZR, pressing the transfer button works instantly.
