Default DropTopGal Gets Buffed

Catchy title for this thread, appropriate as well. Today I did my first wax and buff. Here are a few pics.

And a few more to show. I really like this car. Two items worth noting. 1st, notice the clear bra? You can't even see it! 2nd, How do you guys like my grill? No, not THAT grill, the one on my IS.

Wow that looks amazing. Super shiny, and no you can't see the clear bra at all. That might be the shiniest car I've ever seen.

Thanks for the kind words guys. I have a little experiment that I am trying regarding the brake dust issue. After I washed and waxed the car today, I did RainX on the windshield. I then recalled from a few years ago about reading somewhere to put RainX on the rims in the same fashion as the windshield. It is supposed to keep much of the brake dust from sticking to the rims. If it works, I'll surely let you all know.
