Default Raised my HID's=Good Results

The lexus dealer raised my HID's yesterday (even though they probably thinl it isnt the best idea) and it really works well. you have now SUV HID height on the lighting and the lights appear to be more purple/blue than when they were at lowered factory settings. if you havent raised them yet, i really reccommend it.

I have that too and I raised the level up myself. The HID looks so much better after it was raised and it give more flicker effects. It isn't something you should have the dealership done for you. You want to do it at home because you will have to experiments with how high you want yoru cut off to be at. It isn't a one time thing, I made at elast 4 adjustments before I was happy with the result and not blinding incoming traffic.

How do u know how much flicker you had. Did you ask a friend to drive your car, and you drove his, so u can see how your headlights looks?

It is very easy to do yourself. However it should be done under certain conditions: Full tank of gas, night time, level surface, 20 ft. away from blank wall. Follow Techniques DIY and your golden.

If you do this adjustment, please keep in mind that you're not the only one on the road. Of all the jackasses I pass on a daily basis that blind me, 99% have HIDs and think they're impressing me.

full tank of gas is not needed, the AFS system with adjust itself to the preset level of the headlight regardless of how low/high the back is.

The factory manual state a full tank of gas is needed. I think it is posted in Technique's DIY.
