Thumbs down Windsheild Wipers

On my IS250 07 I noticed that when i had the wipers on for more then 20 min that the right wiper leaves a black mark or streak on the driver side, Does anybody have this and how do i stop this from happening?

Time for new blades. The rubber is coming off because they're getting old.

lol I think is250al would be smart enough to notice if the rubber was coming off. Have you taken a damp cloth and wiped the wipers?

wish it was that easy, now the rain stopped and the mark is on the window, the way to get it off is to hit it hard with a rag and windex, sucks!

Buy a pair of Bosch Icons.
They're better anyway.

May I suggest the following product... it's a million times better than Windex ever was at cleaning my windows.

Stoner's Invisible Glass is also great for cleaning the windshield. I think your blades might have some residue. I'd concentrate on cleaning them well and testing it out again.

i had the same problem you had over the last two days. it was the first time i used my wipers since i bought the car. but once it "broke in" (leaving rubber marks on the windshield) it seems like the problem was gone. i rubbed off the rubber marks and afterwards it wasn't leaving any marks on the windshield anymore. but who know if they return next time i use the wipers...

just a suggestion, something that has worked well for me, is that when im drying off my car, and I have a damp microfiber towel, I just give a nice wipe to the rubber part of the wiperblade. Usually I will see some black stuff come off, so I give it another wipe. I've been doing that for the past few vehicles I've had and it works pretty well. I'm also a fan of rain-x, IMO the stuff works really well.

Do these fit in the stock frame or do you have to replace the entire blade? Would prefer to use the stock blade with replacement refills

are icons really much better? i did a google on it, n most people seem to be against it due to poor low weather performance and price
