Default bluetooth w/o

Can you buy the bluetooth extra without the navigation??...I'm thinking about getting the '08 250 but i dont want the navi.

I don't think so, sorry. There are some decent kits available, but it won't work as well.

If you are thinking about replacing the headunit, I think there are some that come with bluetooth capability. You might not save much over the stock system though.

Or for 5-10 times less than the factory nav you can buy an aftermarket GPS unit that also includes bluetooth (and realtime traffic, MP3 storage, and other stuff the factory nav also doesn't do)... it'll also cost $225 a year less to update the maps :P

No--it's totally ridiculous, IMO. You can get it stand alone on a Nissan Maxima, but not a Lexus.

Which is a great option, except that he said he didn't want nav...

I bought this BlueAnt for my wife last Xmas and she loves it. It's not real high-tech, but it's extremely portable and it lasts a LONG TIME between re-charges.
