Default 9006 nokya bulbs

hi, i just bought the yellow nokya bulbs for the fogs. But my friend just told me not to install it cause it will burn the wires. he doesnt drive an IS.

would these bulbs work? the output is 70watts. 2500k 9006 HB4?

and also if you did install it, any problems and how does it look?

i got it from ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/New-N...QQcmdZViewItem

i did use those for about 4-5 months. they did in fact burn both wiring harnesses and i had to replace them. i ended up switching to hid fogs.

This is how they look, no theres no problems, no you dont NEED hid fogs, you may WANT hid fogs but trust me these look fantastic for the price.

I have them and they look great...in fact that if you look on the bulb it self they only use 55w, but simulate 70w......just check it out. I think they look more yelow then the HID kits.

Wait a minute, I have these lights on my IS as well but hardly ever use them. So BlitzIS350 and Speed & Co, you're telling me they will burn out the harness after prolong usage? Like what lexus250 mentioned, I thought because they only used 55w it should be safe. If they're not I would like to remove them asap.

Lightbulb

I just put a set in last weekend... I love the look!!

Reminds me of my IS300

Although, I must admit the housing lenses feel very "HOT".. but they just about feel the same as the stock bulbs...
I use my fogs all the time, so next week I'll do a 2 week inspection on the harness to check out the wiring...

I made sure I bought the ones that were "operates at stock wattage" 55W..
For the record our OEM bulbs are Sylvania 9006 51W

The below pic is a bit blurry... I was in a rush when i took them..

This ones better..
