Default Help me w/2 wheel fitments...

So I just got some 18" Enkei RPF1's in bright silver the other day...but the woman doesn't like them (it's her car) so those are going in the "For Sale" forum later tonight. Anyway, she likes these new wheels so help me pick the best fitment. If it matters, we have the Eibach pro-kit's (front: 1.0" & rear: 0.8") & the oem bodykit. I don't want to do any type of fender mods (rolling, cutting, shaving, etc) & still use the oem tire sizes of 225/40/18 & 255/40/18. Trying to be as flush to the fenders as possible without rubbing. Deciding between:

18x8 (40mm) & 18x9 (40mm) or

18x8.5 (30mm) & 18x9.5 (35mm)

Any input would be greatly appreciated, thx!

I like the 2nd choice but 30 up fronts might have a little rubbing, depending on tire size. You can probably get away with the 30 if you stretch a little. I know for sure the 35 rears will clear no prob.

For the front tires I'd be using the oem size of 225/40/18. I'm assuming the rears will clear since the Enkei's clear easily, though they are 0.5" more narrow:

18x8 - 35mm offset & 18x9 - 35mm offset

Is that the size youre going with? You should be find with the 30 and a 225 IMO, and plus youre running 18s.

Size as in tire size? If yes, then I'll be using the oem tire sizes 225/40/18 & 255/40/18 regardless of what wheel widths I choose in the end. To reiterate, I currently have Enkei RPF1's using the oem tire sizes & Eibach springs w/no rubbing whatsoever:

18x8; 35mm & 18x9; 35mm

But I'm trying to decide between these 2 staggered fitments. I don't want to mod the fenders in any way shape or form (shaving, rolling, cutting, etc.):

18x8; 40mm & 18x9; 40mm or
18x8.5; 30mm & 18x9.5; 35mm

I had to stick w/18's since the woman wanted to retail the oem ride. Thx for the help.

I think 30mm in the front is fine. MrMark running +23 in the front without modding fenders....I believed 35 all around would be fine too.

edit: here is the link...I think you can pm him and ask for more detail.

Yeah, I've emailed Mark about getting some wheels for me. I'm just waiting for him to respond back regarding fitment. BTW, the 35 all around are on the Enkei's I currently have & they fit fine w/Eibach springs.

18x8.5; 30mm & 18x9.5; 35mm will be fine. Im running 19x9.5 +35 and 19x10.5 +35 and it sits flush with the fender with no major mods. rolling fender and using a heat gun to push back the bump stop thing in the splash guard is all that was done. No fender pulling or body work.
