Yeah, go ahead and just use the tape only method. Those fuddy, duddy Lexus engineers really don't know beans about designing body parts, and the best attachment methods.

Saw this stuff at the Autozone, anyone ever use it on the spoiler? There are a couple of variety's, but they all look pretty permanent.

Well I decided to dremel off the screws, picked up some 3m tape and taped her on. Very solid right now and the seams along the trunk are pretty good, one side is raised just a hair because of the tape. Lets see how it holds up over the next few years. Just couldn't bring myself to drill the holes. Figure the worst that can happen is it falls off, but I can't really see that happening. Thanks for all the input.

I dont know why people have such a problem with drilling a hole, its not that hard and thats what the dealer's do.

I dremeled off the screws and used the factory tape plus extras 3M tape where the screws were. Spoiler fits fine and is attached securely. The reason I didn't want to drill was in case I changed my mind and go with another AM spoiler or go back to stock (no spoiler) - having 3 holes in the trunklid would be exascberating . . .

The adhesive is very strong, it was one hell of a task removing the spoiler from the car.

tape here too. Dealer did it since they forgot to put the spoiler on at the port.
