I should have also mentioned the other noticeable difference for 2008 is the wheel color. I think they call the new color liquid graphite. I like the look and I think it hides the brake dust better than the old color.

Guess Lexus ran out of cashmere.

fotaman,
What happened to the picture of the inside of your car? It seems to be gone now and I wanted to show my son. When we asked for the black carpeting, he thought that it would look ugly.

Here's the interior picture. I believe black is the new standard. My dealer said that Lexus received a lot of feedback about the light colored carpet showing dirt and stains. I really like the cashmere leather interior. It looks much better in person. The flash picture makes it look a little pinkish.

Thanks a bunch for the pictures. Wow! Beautiful shot of the car. Great backdrop. Utah is a lovely state. We did the Moab, back roads to Tropic and Bryce Canyon and then to Zion thing two years ago. It was terrific.
Has anyone else been to the dealership and seen the black carpet with the cashmere? When I called the salesman today he said that they still had the cashmere.

BucBaby, I'm glad you appreciated the pictures. I'm hoping to get out sometime this week to get some good autumn pictures to add to the seasons pictures thread.
I know the Bryce Canyon area pretty well. I'm originally from California but I spent my summers during my high school years working on a ranch near Bryce Canyon. I fell in love with the mountains and the redrock and decided to put down roots in the state.

I sent an e-mail to my dealer to see if it's possible for our car to have the black carpet. We asked them to find out about this in May, and were told that it wasn't an option. Our new order (actually, only real order) was just placed. I'm hoping that it become a reality.
