See, that's what I'm taking about. Danger4o5, that's what I wanted. See, we're from Southwest Florida and you're in our region. I passed your picture on to the manager. We'll see what happens.

Guys, the reason we don't want an all black interior is we live in Florida. Years ago, my dad had an all black ES300 and it was beautiful. He ended up trading it in for a gold one at a loss because it was just too hot. We're not going to have the vented seats so we need to think smart about the heat. We also love the look of the cashmere, but my parents' new ES350 has it and it is very hard to keep clean. My dad clean his car EVERY DAY. We are not like that. That's why we thought the black carpeting would be smarter for us.

Right after I typed this, my salesperson called and told me that we were going to get our car in December. He also said that the carpeting had been taken care of. I asked what date in December, and instead he read to me from the paper that due to significant customer complaints about soiling of the cashmere carpet, all '08's would now have black carpeting, black floor mats, and black seat track covers.

and yet, mine is an 08 and has cashmere carpeting.... (and I've had the car 3 weeks now, and my carpets remain perfectly clean BTW)

That's why you get ALL of the windows tinted. I had a chance to get the white/blk deal..But they were giving me a hard time at lexus of palm beach so I went somewhere else for a better deal BUT white/cashmere interior and I regret that because my car gets pretty dirty..
