Cashmere seats, black carpeting
OK. Went to Taste of Lexus and walked up to an IS250. It had cashmere perforated seats and black carpet! We are getting the regular cashmere seats, and when we ordered we asked if we could have black carpet with that. They said no. It looked great.
How can you get cashmere seats with black carpeting? What package would that be?
Also, if anyone out there has black mats in their cashmere interior, I'd like to see a picture of it. Just wondering what it would look like.

I asked when we bought the car, because it made sense to me. (Doesn't mean that it makes sense to Lexus) The sterling interior has black carpeting, why not the cashmere? The dash is black and cashmere, right?

I sat in a black/cashmere IS on the showroom when I was looking at new cars and it did have the black carpet as well. The sterling car I looked at also had the black carpet.

I just got my 2008 IS with cashmere interior with black carpeting. The Lexus dealer said that the black carpeting was one of the changes for 2008.

I noticed that you have the perforated seats. Do you have the X Package? Perhaps it's just with that one?
