Haha... when people ask me what car I drive I just say a heavily modifed corolla...otherwise they'd be on my back for being spoiled...

I never liked the first generation IS because I thought it looked too much like a Corolla also. But it's ridiculous to compare the current IS to a Corolla.

uhhh... thats the 1st generation one....lower end cars typically eventually mimic the mid- higher end cars eventually...

Just wait till the new gen corolla comes out. Then we will get a bunch of talk that our IS's look like a corolla.

From certain angles most cars of the same body style have similarities. There's plenty of people who wouldn't know a Bentley from a Chrysler 300.

every car has a silmiarites and what not but a corolla does not look like the is lol...srry to say but its well far about the is and thats why we live in a world with class. Its a diffrent class of car :P it just most of the time show status i think that people who hate on luxury cars are just hater cuz they dont got one soo the can go drive their GEO or Kia or corolla :P Ill stick with my is :P

Yes, the GS. These are the only two vehicles that share the same chassis, albeit the GS is an extended version of the IS chassis. There are no other vehicles that Toyota uses this platform for.

my brother calls my is a corolla, but thats just to **** me off. i just take pleasure in knowing that my car is way better . its kinda funny, 2 of my friends drive current gen corollas, n my car is like their dream car haha.
