heres the link for the easier method.
This was how I did mine and I highly recommended over dismantling the housing. I know it's pain to take out the two screws but if you follow the exact instructions with the RIGHT tools it's very easy. I went to Sears bought angle wrench and 10" extensions. You cannot remove the top right bolts without the angle one. It's so tight you can't even see it. I had to blindly feel where the bolt is and voila I unscrewed it. It's just as hard to screw it back on as off. So good luck for people doing this mod.
If you went with other method and somehow took a misstep and lost the spring you'd be in big trouble since you won't be able to drive the car.

I have a MT so I don't know, but when I inquired at my dealership (Lexus Stevens Creek) this morning, the parts guy told me that Lexus stopped selling the pedal kit because too many accelerators were damaged from people trying to put them in. Lexus now sells the entire accelerator with pedal attached but it runs for about $400.

They do sell the pedals individually, however. He got the gas pedal from the Toyota dealership. He also offered to give me $10 off of each part. Total price would have been $160 after tax.

For those with MT, clutch and brake pedal are the same. For those with AT, no parking brake pedal. So any that you buy from eBay or wherever is not an official Lexus part.

Default Sport Pedals

Here's the sport pedals from Sewell Lexus - had the dealer install them though due to lack of time.

Now try verifying the torque with an indicating wrench, while the car is moving 18 feet a minute. Granted, the seats weren't in yet, but I've had to do that before.

I'm always surprised that more people don't complain about Lexus using a foot brake for the e-brake activation. Talk about non-sporty

whenever my father drives me car he always has a hard time trying to find the foot brake. I wish they had a hand brake.

Default Hand Brake and Dealer Installation

The MT has a hand brake... no room for a foot brake down there.

The dealer quoted me $140 for 1 hour of labor to install the pedals. Crazy!!

Your pedals are the same height? That's pretty cool. I asked the dealer if they could do that, but they said they couldn't. "The gas pedal would be too high. I don't think you'd want it like that. Would be too uncomfortable."

Can't really go by me for pricing - my wife works at a dealership...but it was listed out as 1 hr - so whatever your dealerships rate is...figure on 1 hr's time.
