Default sport pedals

Is it true that the sport metal pedals wont fit the regulars ones? It looks like u can jsut remove the normal ones and screw in the sport ones. The guy at lexus said i cant. Also if thats true does anyone know of any metal pedal clip ons like they have for honda ?

You can definitely install the Metal Sport Pedals yourself, but it's not so easy as screwing it on.

FOOTREST: easy - pop it off.
BRAKE: somewhat easy - pry it off. its a solid piece of molded rubber with a molded lip on the back
GAS: very hard - the pedal itself is attached by a metal pin that you need to hammer out. theres no room to hammer it out while its still attached so you need to remove the gas pedal assembly. there are two methods; open the spring mechanism box (spring will all fall out, confusing to put back together) or unscrewing the 2 bolts and keeping the mechanism box intact (almost impossible to get the the second bolt).

I wish there was something for the parking brake, that would really complete the look down there.

IMO ^^this^^ method is a bit more trickier. Its a lot easier removing two nuts and taking the whole accelerator assy' out rather than dismantling the pedal inside. No need to mess around with the springs.

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=301167

heres the link for the easier method.
