I'm trying to decide between a g35, a new CTS and of course the is350. I've driven all three and definitely felt that the first two had much better road feel. However, the IS was a standard one, not a sport, since of course the ones with the sport package are nearly impossible to find. A local dealer has one coming in next month, but I basically have to leave a deposit and "reserve" that car if I want it, since they go so quickly (Hello Toyota, make more of these models).
Anyway, wondering if anyone could comment on how the sport package suspension feels/drives in comparison w/the standard. Thanks.

If you have one comming to your dealership I highly suggest you put dwn a deposit for it. I ordered my IS350 with sport pack, navi, levinson, radar cruise and PCS and park assist almost 2 months ago. I'd be fortunate to get it January'08

The reason why I went with the sport pack is I hate wood grain and the sport pack doesn't come with it but it has the other luxury features I wanted from it. If the suspension is all you want then get the X-pack instead.

Total was $47815. I'm purchasing it at a little over invoice though since I'm an employee. The taxes will be the next largest relief if I get them waived with the "december to remember" sales opportunity event incentive.
I'm leasing it for 4 years and have a lot of my money tied in investments so after the lease is up the profits I get will pay off the balance. At least thats my goal. The wife was happy I didn't get a GS430 or an IS-F instead since that vehicle would've been over $60k with similar options. The GS is too big and the IS-F is ugly for a Lexus. I need a low key daily driver since the current one is getting ready to retire this summer.
