Carbon Ceramics for Porsche (PCCB) - price: $14,500:
I know for a fact that the carbon-ceramics that come on the Ferrari Enzo's (made by Brembo, seen above) cost upwards of $30,000. Carbon-ceramic braking systems are most definitely not everyday brakes, so don't expect them to carry everyday brake prices. The Lexus reps at SEMA mentioned that the F-Sport Carbon Ceramics are more intended for IS-F owners...

can anyone guess how good the carbon ceramic brakes will be vs. the stock is-f brembo brakes?...I mean would it change the car's performance dramatically?
Obviously they're lighter but I thought I read somewhere that they don't actually bite harder, they just don't fade.
Does anyone here have experience with cc brakes?
The main advantage of the carbon-ceramic rotors is the weight savings over traditional iron rotors. In the IS-F's case, it represents a total weight savings of 50 lbs. over the stock Brembo setup.

cool...thanks for the info!...are the brake pads different for carbon-ceramic rotors or are they the same like other bbk? just wondering....
dont CC rotors get consumed at a faster rate than metal rotors do? not real good when they are expensive to replace. CC brakes can provide braking power even when cold, i think metal brakes have to have some warmth before providing max braking power
