How do you like the IS-F? ...Been thinking about trading in the 350 for one.

I just got a qoute from a nearby Lexus dealership on how much it is to install the following F-Sport accesories: springs, sway bars and chassis member brace. They qouted me $1,430 ($880 for the springs, $440 for the sway bars and $110 for the chassis membe rbrace) for 14.5 hours of work, plus another $145 for a wheel alignment. It's crazy because I believe they charge $55 per hour of work and with that total it would equal 26 hours worth of work. That whole cost of installation almost cost twice as much as the accesories.

Can anyone confirm if this is overpriced? I mean I know it's from a Lexus dealership but it seems way too absurd just for the accesories to be covered by warranty.

ism-skzm, if you don't mind me asking, did you get yours installed at a Lexus dealership? If so, how much?

I just went out and listened to/test drove a manual IS with the short shifter and the intake. The F-Sport intake does have a little bit of a deeper sound when I opened up the throttle, and the pipe is slightly larger in diameter. The tech that installed it said both the short-shifter and the intake were pretty easy installs.
