Almost correct... The springs for the sport package are different all around, but only the front sport package shocks are different from the luxury package.

IS250 shock PN's are:

48530-80266 (RWD)
48530-80285 (AWD)

IS350 shock PN's are:

48530-80288 (all models)

Hope this helps!

even between lux pkg and sport pkg you do notice some difference in two suspension setup.
either way, the springs are what's causing the drop. therefore, changing out the springs puts you back to the baseline stock suspension height.

Now, if you want to know about comfort/ride, then that will be different b/w models.

Also, in technical terms, how does it work? For $300, a blue-painted aluminum block seems pretty pricy. I would've thought it also replaces the shaft holding the **** itself too since that seems to have pretty long travel.
all you get is the rubber boot and the adaptor assembly, instructions too. Its basically 2 add-ons to change the angle between the lever and control shaft. if you get it from sewells its like 237..? so not too bad. feels like its not worth it for 2 lil pieces but if the reduction is significant then i think its worth it.

I hope all goes well with the installation. If you can please write a review after installation, that would be great.

I am planning on doing the exact same setup on my IS 350.

OH YEAH!!! please do post some pics.

Alright, I'm gonna add some pictures since nobody else (except ngl1145) has done it yet.

So you decided to change the shocks and springs at the same time. So why didnt you go with coilovers instead of springs?

Just curious?

but the drop seems pretty nice. I wish it was a tad lower

A few reasons.. mainly cost, I'd never really change the height or ride quality, warranty coverage... and I think that's it.

Thanks for the pics. Looks good! Is your driver side slightly lower than your passenger side with the F-Sport springs? I am curious to know since this has been known to be more noticeable after installing aftermarket springs.
Also, did the dealership cut any of the bump stop during the installation?

Lets see if Ryan will chime in. He did the install and took all the pictures.

It's pretty level left and right. As far as cutting... I didn't ask.

Instructions didnt call for cutting of the stock bumpstops, so i did not cut them. I didnt really think it was necessary anyway. The car rides nice and smooth, and i dont anticipate any problems.

How long did it actually take for you to install the springs?

Rumor has it it, that it will sound & look just like the Lexus HKS Dual Sport Exhaust...

Here are both the part numbers which both have a MSRP price of $1,470

Lexus HKS Exhaust part# = PT916-53060

Lexus F-Sport Exhaust part# = PTR08-53090

Javy my friend.. we have already been down this road...

(From a 2007 thread)

Rear springs w/ X-Pkg or Sport Pkg = 48231-53150
Rear springs Std. susp (w/o Sport) = 48231-53180

Rear shocks w/ X-Pkg or Sport Pkg = 48530-80289
Rear shocks Std. susp (w/o Sport) = 48530-80288

When I am under my car later, I will pull the # off my shocks...
I'll try to snap a pic too..
