Hey, I leased my IS250 about two months ago and I just hit the 2k mark today. But I was wondering about the 5k service. When I take it in, will they give me a loaner car?


I'm the primary signer on the lease with my father being the co-signer. But I'm only 19. That's why I ask this question

No even if you own/paid off the car like I do, but I am 18, they will refuse you a loaner unless you are 21...but I guess your father could come and get the loaner...And actually in california it may take a while to get it serviced if its on a busy day... some dealerships have lines of 30 cars waiting in the morning o cassionally haha

Yeah, im 18, i always bring someone over the age when i come for a service when its more than 2 hrs. you CANT get a loaner car when you're 18.

It's 21 in california. I just reached the age and happy I don't have to bring an "adult" with me anymore.

u dont need a loaner...just chill at the guest area and munch on their free food/ drinks.

They have shuttle service too which I used once, got dropped off and picked up from the local mall.

When my bro is busy, I take the shuttle home. If not, I take my bro and he'll get a loaner out for me.
Just bring your homework there or something.

Make an appointment for 5:30 PM and request the loaner and you will the loaner over night

nah I'm 18 too and they (atleast my dealership) told me that I needed to be 21 to get a loaner.....when I was doing my rearview mirror & auxilary input TSIB done, I was told it would take approx 3 hours due to so many people.....I wanted to get a loaner but they couldn't give it to me since I wasn't 21.....so then I just asked for them drop me off to a local mall....they will drop you off basically anywhere as long as it like 10-15 mile range (something like that)

i think its up to the dealersihp.....if im correct hendrick gives 18-21s toyotas...and a lexus only if ur over 21...i cant say for sure i always waited then....

Well it all depends on the service advisor, mines is real cool I have know her for about 6 or 7 years & I dropped my car off for a oil service, inspect sticker, & wash around 12:30pm yesterday, & I had a loaner (RX400h) all day yesterday, & brought it back this monring & picked up my car. Hey try this approach, tell you have something you have to do, & you cant wait, than say you are going to need a loaner, but you might have 2 bring it back the same day buddy!!!!
