Smile Great Spot for sattelite antena

Just put Sirius in my 07 250 and there is no way im mounting that antena on the roof next to the shark fin and the inside mirror one works like crap! so i had them mount the antena by the passenger side wipers there is a tiny hole to run the wire and since its small and black in color, its almost hidden and works A+

I think it's great that you found this solution but I guess I don't
understand the importance of choosing Sirius over XM.
They will be one in the same very soon. The XM integrates much better into
the car. It's a shame not to make use of the great location of the factory
XM antenna.

Not true. Even if XM and Sirius are able to secure regulatory approval to merge (and that's a very big IF, considering the FCC recently killed a similar deal where Dish Network wanted to buy DirectTV), the combined entity intends to continue to operate XM and Sirius as separate services.

The only reason I prefer Sirius over XM is because of content. I've been a Sirius subscriber for about 2 years now and I don't want to learn new channel numbers, DJs, etc. I ordered my IS 350 yesterday so I've got 3 months to figure out what to do. I may get a XM subscription and listen online to see how I like it. According to the XM website, their alternative stations are censored. That pisses me off more than anything

In hardware yes, but they plan to share programming.
