what # led or blub replace the licence plate and what is the brightest?

this would be nearly impossible as the license plate lights are a housed unit. the unit would have to be taken apart and a new LED fused in there. you can try, just as i did.. hehe

If you want to shell out the cash for it....polargs are the way to go....

hands down the brightest you will find...

It's a blue 194 bulb...But it's a non service part. You have to go aftermarket. There is no OEM part number. I took these out from the side mirrors w/Puddle Light of 06 GS.
