K&N results.... wheel adapter questions??
Hi all.... I have two different issues but didn't want to start two new threads.
1. Just wanted to let you guys know about the K&N drop in filter. No real technical info... just what I have experienced. I have never gotten more than 400 miles from a tank on a fill up (from full to "E") for a road trip. I bought a K&N drop in on my last trip which is same trip I always take. From fill up to "E", I got 435 miles on my trip meter. Same route I always take and same cruising speed of 73 mph. So as far as I can tell, the K&N did improve my MPG.
2. Is it possible to buy just the rear wheel adapters? I thought I remembered reading on here the usual width is 17 mm... am I right? I want the rear wheels to stick out flush with the top of the fender or just about anyway.
Thanks all... where can I buy them?

Click here to read about the spacers I had custom-made. You can order whatever you want (i.e. the rears only) from Fred Goeske's shop at www.wheeladapter.com.
