Default 19" Volk Progressiv ME fitment?

19" Volk Progressiv ME

Front: 19x8 ET+43 235/35/19 kumho ecsta
Rear : 19x9.5 ET+35 265/30/19 kumho ecsta

if I bough these wheels for my IS350 would it look weird because of the offset?
I could always put some spacers on the front 2 wheels if it was... are there any lightweight spacers?

i will be putting on eibach springs too...

What is so weak about those front offsets?

Is it because the fronts are in 19x8 and not 19x8.5?

Because 19x8 +43 is not an aggressive set up for the front - unless its for a Civic/Fit/xA/etc or something of that nature...

Why would you purchase such well engineered wheels and cripple them with third world tires?

Unless you use your car for a doorstop, forget the wheels and buy some Tier 1 performance tires.

Would 19x8.5 +43 be more aggressive?

I am curious because I am in the market for some new wheels.

khumo are not the best tire but they definately not the worse. most tire company's even though are different brand actually use the same type of rubber.

i would just got with a lower offset in general. 19x8 offset would have to be in the mid 20's to be flush. if you run 19x8.5 i would say a +34 or even +30 might be a little more aggressive. the lower the better.

my works are 19x9 +21 and 19x10 +23

19x8.5 +23 and 19x9.5 +24 is almost a perfect fit. Not quite flush, but still fills out the wheel well and you only need to roll the rear fenders.

certain offsets are going to work depending if you are lowering your car or not. Lower offsets work with drops but will look bad with an undropped car

because this is a used set of wheels and tires in the wheel classifieds.. i cant really afford to spend that much money right now on a new set of these wheels plus good tires

If you are spending money on volks get the right fitment. Hopefully you are getting both faces.

Buy the wheels and sit on 'em until you can afford better rubber then... What are these coming off of, IS300?
