These threads are ridiculous. Lexus should have spent a few extra bucks and built cars that do not rattle. These are luxury cars, and the interior build quality is crap - I have gaps and rattles that should not exist in a Lexus, period.

I agree! ^ .

All of these issues should and could have been prevented with more testing before the model was released and just better insulation.

anyone called Lexus headquarters about this yet?

I definitely will because of the way I was talked to by the service manager and him refusing to fix the problem because I drive on a abnormal road. Ironically it is a normal road for me! I drive down it everyday to work so it is normal for me.

I thought i bought a car that had a pursuit of prefection. Apparently my dealer is pursing anything except prefection.

sounds like an improper response to me, especially from a service drive manager. maybe go to a different dealership?

For another data point, I drove a Chrysler product for about 400 miles this weekend, and it was 100% rattle free. Getting in my Lexus and hearing rattles coming from random places really pisses me off after that experience.

This is the first car I've owned since the mid 90s that rattled. Talk about devolution.

Well called headquarters and they contacted the dealer. Guess what no changes. Since it cant be replicated on normal roads. Still rattles tho... guess i am gonna have to sell it and get a BMW 335i. It is a shame since i waxed it this weekend with Zainos and it looks GREAT!
