fo realz everytime I go down to so cal I feel at home. Everyone has nice cars and likes fixin them up. Here in norcal.. I dunno... I feel like not many people do it. Not as frequently seen in the north than the south.

update:

everyone's convincing me to leave my sharkfin on and silver. they say the contrast will make the roof pop more...eh we'll see.

i think it looks so much better with the black rims...that was a nice change....however not sure if i would like it with a black hood as well....could u tell us what percent tint u have...thanks...


edit......have u thought of getting a spoiler(trunk)...

I agree with you totally - I had a carbon fiber hood that I would put on from time to time, and when I finally got around to putting it on again with the black roof, it just didn't look right, so I sold it.

Well it has to stay on... there is a hole underneath it..

You may want to consider buying an Obsidian Black one since they come pre-painted from Lexus..

Did you ever manage to vinyl the side rail things?

or buy the black part from lexus? I'm thinking buying the strip from lexus would be easiest?

i honestly have no idea. i know that caifan pulled it off and did the vinyl so im hoping he sheds light on the issue. from what i have seen the wire is attached to the sharkfin--that's how dealers sell them. because i saw a lexus that had the sharkfin stolen and all there was, were just two gaping holes. so i figure some masking tape over the holes and then vinyl over it. and when i wanna revert back to stock i can just reconnect the wire and bolt the sharkfin right on again in the future.
