Pretty neat. I don't think it'll be worth it for me though since I would only use the nav override.

any testing done with this with a non ML, and or with an after market DVD player installed to the TV, like just a cheap simple small player installed in the glove box?

Dang... when one comes out for 150 Ill pick it up, but being that I dont have ML and cant watch DVDs anyway with this its simply not worth 300 to me.

Hi all, this looks like a cool product, definitely one I'm interested in, but I have a question in regards to their pricing.
Why is the best "group buy" price at $300 (for 20 units)? Another thread (https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=315004) which was opened a couple months ago mentioned the same exact product from the same company (Prestigious), and the quote then was $299 each. You'd figure now that ClubLexus is doing a "group buy" with them, we'd be given a bulk discount but that doesn't seem to be the case.

yeah.. i was wondering the same thing.. ive been keeping track of this product for a few weeks.. since they did the install on the LS 460 forum.. seems like the group buy should get the price down a little more, i was hoping for 10% off the original price.. or at least free shipping

2) Does anyone watch the news??

3) The stock market has been having a bad few weeks.. which makes the USD weak & will cause the JP YEN exchange rates to fluctuate not to our advantage..

like joe said, you should really go check on the price of USD. the exchange rate and everything has dropped quite a bit.

moreover, from what i heard, even for the last batch, PS also purchased a bulk of them as inventory, that's how they got the lower price

don't even try to ask how much i paid for my first SINGLE unit imported....

We sincerely apologize if we can't provide a better price at this time. The initial LS clients were requesting a group buy while we were a non vendor. We went ahead and did the group buy for 15 units+. As couple members mentioned, our per unit price cost actually went up due to the unfavorable exchange rate. This is why we set the min. quantity at 20 for the same group buy price. Thanks.
