Tires? Which Ones? Good? Bad?

I have RE960AS Pole Position and love them in every way. My *only* complaint, is that I still hear too much noise through the front wheel wells, it was a huge reduction in sound from the stock dunlops, but its still enough to annoy me if driving silent on a rough road (doesn't happen often). Considering just dynomatting under the carpet area on the front wheel wells.
I did not think that tire was available with the same aspect ratio as the stock tires. Does it matter. Heard the 960s are good tires.
