Haze in side rear mirror

Haze in side rear mirror
Sometimes at night I notice a haze in some area of the rear mirror and another near half of it is not hazed. I think there might be some thing on it, or the glass needs to be polished? I cleaned it with invisiglass and washed the mirror careful every car wash and couldn't get it to go away. Anyone have a similar issue?

^^^ I have the same problem and apparently there are others with the same problem. Someone on here brought theirs to the dealership and got it replaced. I'm waiting for my 5k service to tell the dealership about it and hopefully they can replace mine as well.
Try the dealership and please let me know how it goes.

Yeah I thought I read about this problem on here.
Easiliest way is to exhale your breathe on it and see. It looks very bad though, and it's not a water spot problem.
I didn't go for the dealer 5K service, just hit 3500 miles and changed my own oil tonight.
But I might make an appointment to do the Aux Audio fix and have them check it out.

I've also noticed a swirly haze on my driver side rear-view mirror. I did not purchase the car new and don't have the option to take it back to the dealer. It looked fine when I drove it home, but after a wash the marks surfaced. I didn't use an abrasive cloth or sponge and the passenger side mirror is fine. Anyone have any idea what could have caused it or how I can remedy it without replacing the glass?

My new 2012 had this issue with both mirrors. Dealer replaced them under warranty. He said that the glass actually has a liquid in it as part of the heated mirror function so the haze is inside the glass and not something (as I understand it) that you can clean etc. mirrors appeared to pop off and on a clip in the mirror housing so just took a few minutes for them to replace it. Owners manual says you are suppose to close the mirrors to the body when you go through a car wash to protect them. Boarders on unreasonable to me but yeah whatever they say.....
