I did some quick measurements of my Mark Levinson via an analog SPL meter:

It really depends on the audio sources I'm using… But since I use the aux most of the time I tend to keep it in the high 30's low 40's

Depends? Usually keep it in the 30's on the norm, but if it's a song that I love or if it bumps, I'll blast it. Also if I am next to people in other cars at a stop light/sign that look cranky or annoyed, I'll turn it up just to **** them off. haha...I know I am a brat.

Just what almacruel said...

I am a jazz/classical musician/piano teacher listening to piano music most of the time and sometimes I can barely hear, even at full volume with Mark Levinson. It also depends on how the sound engineer set the volume on the cd I guess. I even asked the stealership if they can tune up the volume...

Depending on the mood 25-40... but I have PHS (Permanent Hearing Shift) from all the concerts in high school... so.... I like it loud tho but not anywhere near the "old" days...

It really depends for me. I normally just set the volume somewhere between 10 - 30. It just really depends if i need to wake up or just sit back and relax. So basically it depends on the time and the mood.
