Just curious to see how loud or soft people listen to their music in their IS?

no music so i can hear my gauges crunkle, my seat belt rattle and my glove box jitter. oh and my suroof creak (which is an easy fix).

I don't know why people listen so loud... each time you have a loss of hearing then the ringing noise afterwards...it means you will never be able to listen to that certain frequency ever again...because the brain shuts it out...
Those stupid people who blast their music will regret it later...

I usually keep it around 35 but if my windows are down I play it at 45.

The engine doesn't really make any noise worth listening to until about 5k rpm.

45 is really loud.

Back in the summer, I put it on 40 with al my windows down. Now I am doing 5-10 with my windows up

tend to max it out, but im used to having a system and i havent put one in this car

If my windows are up, the volume is between 10-20. If the windows are down and I'm on the highway (which happens a lot), the volume is at 30-48.

Of course, these numbers can be skewed if you consider that in order to actually hear your iPod when it's connected, the volume has to be at least 25 or so.

Ya i have a friend that listens to it at 60, i drove in his car for 10 minutes and he refused to lower the volume, and afterwards i couldnt even hear my friends at dinner until i recovered.. Isnt that unhealthy?
