Rims, should I buy now or wait till next summer?
Well, living in Canada, snow is an important part of our lives unfortunatly. We usually get stuck with a long winter, and believe me it really sucks!! It's november, and it supposed to snow anytime now. I was away for the summer, and didn't get a chance to put some mods on my car, and I'm dying to do it. There's no point to do any mods now since snow is on its way. However, I've been looking at some rims lately. Just wanted to ask you guys, since I won't be putting any rims on till next spring, but if I come across a good deal on them, would you purchase it now and keep it till next spring, or would you wait till next year and maybe something better will come, and will I be able to find a good deal still. Correct me if I'm wrong, I think might be able to get rims cheaper in the winter than summer? Just to let you know what I'm getting, they go for $1200 for a set of 4 normally, I can get them now for about $750-$800, for a set of 4. Think I should do it? Thanks for your inputs guys. I just don't know if I should spend the money and let it sit there for that long. :S

If you get a good deal on a set you really like there is no harm in buying them and storing them until the weather gets better. I am sure many have done it - hell I know people who buy mods for cars they dont even have yet...
The only thing bad about this is you'll be really tempted to put them on every time you look at them - so keep them out of sight!
Only buy if the deal is good though - if the price is the same as it always is, there is no reason to buy now, so in this case wait on them.

Buy the rims now only IF its absolutely a deal you just can't pass up on. Otherwise, you should wait.

yeah i know, that will be my problem, I just can't look at them after buying it. I know I won't have a problem with wanting to put them on all the time is because my folks lives in Michigan, so I can have it shipped to them and just let them keep it for me till next spring.

id say wait; but start looking into it. I changed rim styles every couple weeks before i committed to a set; yet each time i thought i found the right set i was itchin' to buy them asap. However, dont wait too long because depending on the rims there may be a wait--most rims orders are placed early spring. I waited 8 weeks for my wheels...
