of the fender well. They rubbed through the fender lining on the top edge. I was running 19x8.5 with a 35mm offset and 235/35/19 PS2s. I thought this was kinda weird being as that I have seen people on here running way more aggressive offsets and they claiim they don't have rubbing issues.
Anyways I ordered a set of Work Varianza T1Ss to replace my MRRs. I ordered them with the same size and offsets, but I am thinking about dropping the 35mm offset up front to a 36mm or more. Work recommended running 38mm all the way around, but I didn't think the offsets I had looked aggressive enough because there was a decent gap between the edge of the tire and the fender. I wish the Japanese would design the cars like the Germans. The suspension setup on german cars is superior to any japanese car I have ever driven, but the reliablity of the Jap cars is superior to the Germans.
What offsets are you guys running with 235/35/19 that are lowered on coilovers and don't have any rubbing issues?

They won't be here for 2 months. I am on coilovers, but it doesn't matter what suspension you have because if the tire rubs in its stroke it is going to rub not matter what. So if a wheel rubs in the suspension cycle it really doesn't matter how low you are because if you sat up higher it would still rub because the suspension has the capability of traveling high enough up in the wheel well to hit the fender lining. The only way to avoid this it to get the proper offset and that is approx. 38mm front and rear. This is what Work recommended and I think I am going to go with what they say because the proof is that 35 is too much for these cars. Too bad they aren't like the German cars. I have seen Audis were it looked like if you switched lanes the tire would rip the fender off, but they tuck in the cycle.
My friends RS4 actually looks like the tire is dead even with the fender lip and it is only about 1/16 of an inch away, but his car rides better than mine and never rubs, The Germans do a far better job designing the suspension on their cars.

Probably why many of them handle and feel better than most Japanese cars.

Well I think they are stretched enough with a 235 on a 8.5. Anymore stretched, to me, would look stupid. Not to mention I want tires not rubber bands.
