lol this gas saving thing is ridiculous...choosing the 250 over the 350 was purely a decision i made based on would i like to save 5k or have the higher horse power car i didnt ever think of it in terms of gas saving. also remember that all mpg's are gonna be off if you have after market rims and tires...cause for my case i ride on 20's with stretched tires and my speedo reads a little higher than usual because of the size. thats where your extra lost of gas could be going lol...just wanted to write something for fun so yea lol. oh yea to stay on topic i was gonna turbocharge my 250 for fun not to be speed racer....but im over that stuff thats why i bought a 250 Lexus =)
5k+ or 20k+? i think i'll go with 5k+ and saved the other 15k for investments.
Yea spend the $5k and put extra money aside for the malfunctions that won't be covered under warranty. From personal experince forced induction add-ons isn't the best thing in the long run.
I would rather buy a IS350 and mod with the extra money i saved. the 0-60 for the price of the IS-F does not impress me, its close enough to the IS350 to consider saving money and just modding a IS350 to make it perform the same way.
A car isn't built to just acheive a good 0-60 time. I would just feel alot more comfortable with the automakers fingerprints on my internals of my motor.
