Tough question. I've tripped over this since my car was new. I have the '08 gunmetal, which I think is a tasteful contrast to the lighter GFM color. I've been tempted by darker wheels, but I don't think it matches the rich character of GFM. Still unsure though.

I've looked at stock rims in the black-chrome finish and it looked so-so. Then looked at the all flat black look, but they look like they have brake dust on them all the time. I've even considered stock chromes, but the forthcoming chastising from CL has swayed me away. lol

Brake dust is drastically reduced via low dust pads on front btw.

This mite be a dumb question but whats the difference between glacier frost micah and crystal white? is crystal white the one with the metallic flakes? and does anyone know the color code for either? im trying to figure out which color mine is.

Crystal white appears white with metallic flakes. Glacier frost on the otherhand is a more unique color. Depending the degree of light hitting the paint, it may appear silver, white, and bluish due to it's mica paint.
IMO, the best color for wheels that compliments GFM's unique tricolor paint is SBC (super black chrome from SSR) or WBC (from Work). The wheel color will appear like chrome during the day and dark gunmetal in the evening.
