Default would a tire blowout damage the TPMS?

Just a question, say you experience a tire blow out, can the sensor in the tire potentially get damaged? or does it depend entirely on the wheel and how 'deep' the TPMS is?

It shouldn't. The TPM is hugging the wheel, so you'd have to destroy the lip to the spokes in order to crush the TPM...

I wouldn't be so quick to say that you couldn't run over something sticking out or even a edge of a pothole to go up in your rim without have pressure in it. I would say yes you could bust your TPMS with a flat.
