Has nothing to do with math, your thread makes no sence, I'm not the only one who thinks so.

ROFL, I've explained myself before and i'll do it again for you:

I AM 40yrs old and I AM going thru midlife , this is the FIRST 4dr automatic car I have ever bought. All my life its been 2dr standard sport (sporty) cars so... I wanted a change to something more responsible (act my age kinda thingy) thus a 4dr automatic Lexus If i wanted "i need a fast car" I wouldnt have walked into a Lexus stealership in the first place right?

Never a fan of the GS line purely on looks, but on paper it seems like a great car.

It wasn't pointed directly to you... had no idea you were 40 either. lol BTW act your age would be in the GS/LS... IS is for 16-30ish IMO. Whatever works.

Great to have a GS350 with MORE room and weight around 200 and some change more then an IS350.
I'm just wondering.... what does the GS offer that is not available with the IS as far as toys go?

Weight isn't nearly as much of a factor on trap speed as it is on ET.

A MODDED 335 is faster in a straight line - but based on dragtimes, IS350's are faster than 335i stock vs. stock.

For pure driving performance on a track, maybe the 335 is faster, but you know what? I don't think I've ever pushed my car hard enough to drift more than 1 foot on the street. I've never tracked yet - and I believe 99% here haven't either.
