Default Anyone have pics of OEM 18" wheels with aftermarket springs or spacers?

I'm looking at going with spacers and springs on my stock 18"s instead of bigger rims and tires (for the time being) and was wondering if anyone had installed Eibach, Tanabe, or some other springs on their 2IS with factory wheels. Post some pics...

Also, if anyone has spacers installed on stock 18" wheels (with springs too?), I'd like to check out some pics there.

If you post, please give the size of the spacer and where you picked them up, and list the brand/model of spring.

Thanks!

Why not just get custom wheels that have an overall wider tire width?

he mite like the stock wheels or maybe doesn't feel like spending money on wheels when the stocks are perfectly fine. that was a dumb question.

Look in the Matador color thread, picture of one dropped on Eibachs in there. Mine is having H&Rs installed next week.

I knew my car would wind up in here... It's worth noting that the pictures above are NOT with spacers installed - that was right after I got my Eibachs put on. Here are some that will give you a better idea of the finished look with Eibachs + custom spacers:

Javier - I know from reading your threads that you have 12mm (front) and 17mm (rear) spacers installed, and your car looks great.

Honestly though, I can't tell a difference between your car's "look" and the look of Letz250's car, which is on 20mm spacers (front and rear).

How would you explain this? If H&R makes a 20mm spacer for front and rear, why did you only go with 12mm and 17mm spacers? Do you think fender mods would be required with 20mm spacers?

My spacers were the result of measuring the distance from the wheel to the inner part of the fender. 20mm is fine in the rear, but if you went 20mm in the front too, you're going to have some rubbing issues at full lock. As a matter of fact, there was a tiny bit of rubbing when I was running 12mm in the front (although the only way I found out was actually looking at some tiny scuffs on the inside of the fender lining - you would never feel or hear it).

BTW, thanks for the comments, guys.

Javier
