Ahhh.... the AM was the "work" car (company lease). My hubby has a neat deal at his job where he can either use a company leased vehicle to a determined $$$$ amount per month or simply be paid that amount as a monthly driving allowance. Part of the catch is that he has to take what the company will lease. For instance, late 2002 through late 2003, he had an SC430, then a Range Rover, then the AS for a while. This time around, a Jaguar was the offer and he opted for the cash instead.
The way I see it, driving an expensive car (ie. AM, SC430, Range Rover) is nice, but after a while, one comes to the senses to use the cash for financially responsible purposes. IMHO...The IS offers enough "luxury".
