Went to my local dealer for brake dust TSIB and squeeling TSIB today but was told by the service manager that there were 2 recalls that needed to be done on my IS250. The service department ended up doing both TSIBS and only one of the recalls which was the fuel line.

The other recall had to do with seatbelt and was told by the service manager that it was very critical. However, they did not have the necessary parts to fix the seat belt due to not having the proper parts. I need to go back in a couple of days later when the parts arrive.

As with any of their service campaigns, you should have gotten a full tank of gas. Unless they changed their policy.

Thumbs down SSC 7LC - Part on Backorder 30 days or More...

Was told by my dealership that the part is currently on backorder of a month or more. Not too comforting given the fact that notice went out to owners; hence the foreknowledge of having readily accessible replacement parts available.

I called on Dec. 26th to make my appoint. but they told me they had to order the parts and would call me when they arrived. I got a call exactly 1 week later that the parts were in...and this happened despite the New Years holiday.

^Follow the instructions in the post #88 of this thread to check if your specific IS is included in the recall.
