Wouldn't 30 miles east of Detroit be somewhere in Canada?

We got our first inch yesterday. It was unexpected and the DOT wasn't prepared. So a lot of people were crashing. The AWD did great and I had no problems going uphill.

do you guys turn on the heated seat right when you get in the car? turn on the heat after the engine warms up a bit

I never turn off the heated seats in the winter. So they turn on as soon as I start the engine.

Yes, the heated seats warm up faster than the car does -- I appreciate them most during the first few minutes before the cabin has warmed.

For the heat, just set you favorite temperature and forget it. The computer that controls the climate control is smart enough to leave the blower off until the engine has warmed a bit -- then it gradually ramps up the blower speed as the engine nears normal operating temperature.
