Default Heated Seats: heats up the back as well? (not backseat)

Hello CL, I just have a quick question (and yes I did a search). Does the heated seats also heat up the back as well, not the backseat but the back of the drivers/bassenger seat so it heats up your back as well? I know it's perforated from the seat to the back but i'm not sure if it's just to keep up with the design.

I was just curious because I haven't really gone on a long drive in the cold for me to try it out. Thanks.

I'm reasonably sure that it does heat the back. I use it all the time but have never really paid close attention, it just feels warm.

It does heat the back, just not as efficiently as the seat because of that "warm air rises" physics-science bit...

Yeah--not all the way up. My Acura did that, and so does my wife's Honda.

It doesn't really heat the back well and is a bit slow in heating. I'm quite disappointed in it.

the *** warmers are always nice, but i dont think it heats the back, cause ive used the cooled seats and u can feel air bein blown up ur rear (not literally but u can run ur hand over the holes and feel it) doesnt do the same for the back, havnt tried the heated seats but id imagine them to be the same

It heats the back portion of the seat. I've had these on everyday for almost a month now.

Thanks for the resplies, it's great to know that it does work and I can't wait to use it once it gets colder around here.

yes it does heat the back but just the lower back area and it isn't as warm as the seat part.
