Default Temporary License plate frame (Pics Updated)

I know this has been discussed many times, but i was wondering if you can use this http://www.rpidesigns.com/shop/item.asp?itemid=950.... for our IS...I only want to put on my license plate when parking on the street. (as that is the only times i got ticketed)...if there is just something that it can hold the plate temporarily when parked and remove it when driving???

To be honest... things on the road will rip that plate right off. Hell if it was on my car that thing would be dragging the ground 24/7.

LoL, okay..is there anything else that can hold the frame temporarily? I have heard people using suction cups to hold the plates...and so easy to remove...any alternative ideas?

Another thing I'm going to try that they do alot on my BMW forum is vinyl. I plan on buying gloss black vinyl and I'm going to do all the wood trim inside, windows trim outside, grills, and maybe rear reflector. Has anyone else tried doing this yet?

I would be a little worried about going the velcro route. I would be paranoid of that thing falling off while I'm driving.

I would think it would be the other way around and you would be ticketed when you get caught driving around without the plate, not parked. Maybe it's a California thing. Luckily down here, we don't have front plates.
