well today prety much sucked. i had no idea it was only an 1/8th mile track.. but i went ahead and raced anyways... i did 4 runs and my best time was
60'- 2.043
1/8- 8.789 @ 82.26
and you were probably right about the 13.6 though, based on dragtimes, the IS350's that ran similar to this in the 1/8 mile ran a 13.5-13.6 in the 1/4 mile
Also my engine was pretty hot, it was a 1 1/2 hour drive to the track and I only let my car cool down for 10 min before I did my first run
I also noticed my intake was very veryy HOT!! and It really has got me wondering if my K&N is causing a loss of power
but cayman, i will have to goto a 1/4 mile asap since you already got me in the drag journal

Don't worry about it. just answer the questions in my previous post and tell me the time of your run and I can figure it out. So how far is the nearest 1/4 track? I'm surprised you did't do a bit of homework before driving all the way and finding the Bama Dragway was only 1/8th mile.

Doesn't really matter how hot the intake feels to touch. The air is rushing in so quickly that it doesn't have time to get heated by the hot tubing. Personally I'd say yeah a JoeZ would work better. I like the fact that the JOEZ keeps all engine bay air out of the intake.
