Hi guys, I just join the fourm to help out my GF with her purchase of a 08 IS250. I have came across many great information and want to say thank you to you guys! I just got back from the dealer, and was given a 5.99% interest rate for 5 yrs that will be good till the end of this month. I never finance before so I am not sure if that is a good rate for a first time buyer. I live in So.Cal so if any So.Cal people can chime in on what rates you guys are getting will be greatly appreciate it!

I got the same Finance %, which was I believe the lowest during that time thru LFS. I have pretty good credit and it is my first car. I think its pretty good for a new car. But you can always shop around and find better but you will have to look for the loan elsewhere. but otherwise its considered good/near excellent APR for a LEXUS

Welcome, and with regards to your interest rate, yes you can do better but that depends on your credit and how much you financed etc... But as !!alcii said you can shop around, if you belong to a credit union or can join one, try their rate. I found them to be lower than Lexus, then Lexus gave me a better one. You can still pay it off with a new car loan from someone else if you find a better term. (at least if you got a simple loan from Lexus which I think they all are, but I'm sure someone will correct me here if I'm wrong). But again welcome and enjoy the ride! oh ya where's the pics!
