Default Picking up an 08 on Friday...

Well this Friday I'll be picking up my new IS 350 that's been on special order for a couple months now. This will be my second IS 350, the first one had an altercation with some deer late at night. On my 06 I did not have the heated and ventilated seats. This time around I opted for the sport package and by extension, the ventilated seats. I was hoping I could get some feedback from those who have already experienced this option.

Two questions:
1. Are the back seats ventilated as well, or just the front?
2. How does the cooling effect work out over extended trips? That was one of my biggest complaints about the last one was the inevitable sweaty bottom after a long drive on a hot day.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Congrats!

1- Just the front.
2- people say it cools alot, and some say that almost useless.
it does cool, but not that much, but when my friend sits on the passenger seat, he's like, wtf how can I turn this off?.

I live in Las Vegas and have both heated and cool seats in my wifes IS350. Only the front have this option. Her car is 8 months old. Doubt that the 08 has anything different. Actually, we use the heated seats more, but the air cool works. You really don't feel air coming through, but seat temperture does drop so it's comfortable. But then again we have the "Dryheat" here. Don't sweat as much. Now my 07 RX350 only has heated front seats and I just ordered a Neiman Marcus IS-F and asked the question recently on whether that has heated/cool, only to find out by an informed member of one of the forums that they only come with heated, due to they are sports seating. I hope this helps you. Good luck and watch for them animals, unless you want an IS-F.

Guess it's a good X-mas presie then! But yes as the others said the air cooled seats are only the front. When I was looking at the car before buying I thought it was just a marketing thing, but actually have found it as a nice option. I didn't think I would use both the heat/cool seat being in N. CA but I have, and just like other options in the car that I thought I could live without (eg. Navi.) now I'm so glad I have them!
