I know that the HID bulbs in our care are the D4S type bulb, but does anyone know if they are 4100K or 4300K. I know that they are yellow looking and I would like to go with a little higher K bulb to get more of a white/blue look. I do not want to go 6000K because I had those in my Acura TL and they cut down too much on the visible light although the color was nice. Also I do not know if there is a difference in light and color between the D2S and the D4S. The Acura uses the D2S bulb. I was thinking of going with a 4800K or a 5000K that I have seen on ebay, but I do not know.

Here's an idea: Just drive the car at night and enjoy the nice bright HIDs rather than looking for brick walls so you can fret over the cutoff color. I thought I was **** retentive, but reading some of these posts makes me think there's a lot of people on this forum ironing their underwear while the rest of us are sleeping.

these are some of the brightest hids i have driven with... although there is no blue cut-off like others on the market, these projectors have a very distinct/sharp cut-off which project visible light... more importantly, they provide safety to both driver and others on the road... if you are unhappy with them, just retrofit your car and stop complaining...
