Hi,
Looking at a used 2006 IS 350 and was curious if there have been any changes from the intial release of the 350 to the new 2008 version. Any assistance would be appreciated.

08 also get the updated Nav w/o the "I agree" button to press on the display. This could be installed on all 06+ Is with Nav with the updated dics you'll have to purchase.
The 08 does indeed have an improved steering feel. I noticedit on the way home yesterday that my car uses less steering input to whip around the high speed curves.

With the rims...does that also apply to the IS250? Are they also a glossier finish then the older ones? Cuz wow, they new look they have...that added glossyness, makes them more look like metal...and less like plastic lol. Especially when looking at that picture... :P

I remember the original thread with that photo. The OP pointed out that his wheels were dirty, and of course, the 08's wheels were new. If you clean and wax/seal the 06-07 wheels, they look better than the 08, IMO.
I don't think the 08 wheels are bad, I just prefer the silver paint to the "brake dust" metallic.

iTunes has a video comparing changes from '07 to '08. I don't think that '06 to '07 was significant, other than what's included/removed from various packages.
